Manufacturer Provided Description
The 370 is the result of nearly 30 years of design evolution. It combines innovative and proven design philosophies with all the exemplary construction qualities that have made Island Packet yachts respected and admired around the world. Along with the superior seakeeping and delightful sailing qualities of every Island Packet, the 370 delivers a host of features in a beautiful design that again sets the benchmarks for the cruising sailor. Features like the self tending staysail and geared rack and pinion steering make the 370 a pleasure to sail. For the day sailor or for the shorthanded world cruiser, this yacht will take you confidently everywhere you want to go.
Accommodations
Below decks, the Island Packet 370 was designed and built with top quality materials and craftsmanship. With a beautiful teak interior, Corian countertops, Ultraleather upholstery, solid bevel-planked teak and oak flooring, polished stainless steel handgrips and lights, the quality is obvious. Stowage throughout the yacht is exceptional, with 300 cubic feet of enclosed space available. Multiple stainless steel ports, deck hatches and dorade vents provide the entire interior with abundant light and ventilation.
Master Stateroom
The master stateroom is forward with the very desirable, large centerline berth. Additionally, there is a big hanging locker, storage cabinets, drawers and a large opening hatch with two opening ports.
Head
Continuing aft, the generously-sized head is to port. Doors from both the forward stateroom and the main salon provide easy access and privacy for owners and guests. There is a separate stall shower with folding acrylic doors and an electric flush head (June 2018). Ample cabinetry storage is provided by the built-in vanity while a hatch and opening port provide plenty of light and ventilation. The vanity features solid Corian countertops.
Main Salon
The main salon features Island Packet's signature bulkhead-mounted dining table that folds up and out of the way when not in use, creating an open area for socializing. Full length port and starboard settees are both comfortable and practical and the port settee conveniently converts to a double berth. Both settees are covered in Ultraleather and there is abundant storage available under, behind and over the settees. With the large hatch, opening ports and dorades, this salon has a light and airy “great room” feel.
Aft Stateroom and Navigation Area
The aft cabin is cleverly configured to be utilized as a comfortable guest stateroom as well as a private “office” with a fully equipped nav station that includes a desk and an adjustable seat. The desk can also double as a vanity by lifting the top to reveal a storage tray and mirror mounted on its underside. The island style double berth and amble storage offers great accommodations for family and friends.

The wide side decks, great non-skid for secure footing and handholds along the length of the cabin top and around the dodger make going forward easy and safe. A Muir electric windlass with switches for bringing the anchors up or down. Aft, the integral swim platform makes coming and going from shore or from a dinghy easy.
