The Lemsteraak Sydsulver belongs to the absolute top segment of traditional Dutch flat-bottomed boats. A ship of class, character, and uncompromising quality. Although it is a relatively young aak, built between 2004 and 2008, its history is already rich and international. The Sydsulver was part of an impressive fleet of sixteen Dutch flat-bottomed boats that sailed on the Hudson River, in honor of Henry Hudson's exploration. A rare and honorable chapter in its story.

The Sydsulver stands out due to its exceptional sailing characteristics. The ease of sailing is great thanks to hydraulic winches for sheets, halyards, and centerboards, allowing for both relaxed trips and competitive races with minimal effort. Furthermore, the rigging winch, anchor winch, and bow thruster are also hydraulically powered.

Its appearance is as impressive as its performance. The combination of a deep black hull with beautifully varnished teak gives the Sydsulver a rugged yet undeniably elegant look. A ship that deserves to be seen, both in the harbor and under sail.

Inside, the same luxury continues. The mahogany interior, refined with brass accents, exudes warmth and craftsmanship. The floors are made of solid inlaid ash wood, giving the interior a timeless and high-quality appearance. In the wet cells, generous use of Corian ensures comfort, durability, and ease of maintenance. The Sydsulver has four spacious cabins, each with its own bathroom, making it extremely suitable as a comfortable family ship or luxury cruising yacht. The headroom is well over 2 meters.

Technically, the ship is solidly built. The electrical system is robust and well thought out, with 2-volt battery cells, a 3000-watt inverter, and an 8 kW generator. The induction cooktop makes a gas system unnecessary, contributing to safety and modern comfort on board. All fittings are made of stainless steel, as is the cockpit construction.
