Description
The SALONA 45 belongs to the category of sailing boats that well combine performance with comfort in navigation developed in the 2000s. This specimen, well maintained and lived in, made with epoxy resins for the hull and polyester resins for the deck, is a timeless classic of sailing. It retains the taste of wood internally with a craftsmanship that has practically disappeared today due to its cost, in well-sized spaces where 4 double cabins can fit.
The boat is visible in the water at the mooring in Porto Pignataro in the Aeolian Islands. In case of an offer, the boat can be transferred to the Port of Rome (Ostia) for any expert operations.

At first glance, the vessel is in excellent condition, absolutely dry, at the mooring, with all ordinary maintenance performed.
We note the need to repair the radar, which is currently the only non-functioning element due to an electrical cable problem.
The batteries (5) are in excellent condition, the engine and the SDrive were serviced in June 2025, as well as the antifouling.
The Dacron mainsail with 2 reefs on Harken cars is NEW. It has 2 Genoas also in Dacron, one at 130% and the other at 160% overlap. One spinnaker with pole and circuit and one gennaker with cruising sock.
The engine, a Volvo Penta D2 55, has 3200 hours, with the riser replaced in 2023, fully serviced in JUNE 2025.
The 2 toilet pumps were replaced in 2025, the boiler in 2022.
New spray hood 2026.
Safety certificate under renewal, expiration 2029, Italian flag.
We note the Webasto water heating system with radiators and the Catalina desalinator, the latter needs maintenance.
The boat is equipped with safety equipment for unlimited navigation currently valid.
