Description
The Lagoon 440 is a French catamaran designed by Van Peteghem/Lauriot-Prevost, primarily intended for cruising and yacht chartering. It was first launched in 2004 and remained in production until 2010, with a total of 423 units built. This model has since been replaced by the Lagoon 450.
The Lagoon 440 is constructed mainly from polyester fibreglass, featuring a solid fibreglass hull below the waterline and a closed-cell foam core above. Its deck is balsa-cored, and it incorporates a 7/8 fractional sloop rig with a fully-battened mainsail and a roller furling genoa. The catamaran is equipped with twin Yanmar diesel engines, each producing 47 hp, and has a draft of 1.30 m with twin keels.
The boat has four cabins. The interior layout can accommodate up to 8 (eight) people. The boat is noted for its spaciousness, luxurious accommodations, and panoramic views from the saloon, allowing for comfortable sailing even in inclement weather.

Sailing catamaran Destiny is ocean-ready and raring to go. She was built in 2010. She features amazing and recent upgrades, along with comfortable interiors, and performance that is both economical and powerful. This yacht lies in Kusadası Setur marina, Turkey which is perfect for beginning your Aegean cruising.
The large saloon and galley integrate beautifully with her spacious entertainer’s cockpit, which features wrap-around windows that flood the space with light. Complemented with a comfy lounge area on the foredeck, this boat is the ultimate family cruising vessel.
She offers great visibility for the skipper from the centre helm location with access to sheet winches electric halyards and mainsheet winches. The Lagoon 440 is renowned for its stability and safety, even in the most difficult weather conditions. From the internal nav position, you have autopilot and chart plotter, enabling some respite.
She has been upgraded over the last few years with many great features. These include a brand new Victron air conditioning system, Water maker, Bimini, Lazy bag, Raymarine chartplotter, Washing machine, Dishwasher, and new batteries. We know that she is the best currently available on the market.
She is registered in Poland. The sailing catamaran Destiny offers a large battery capacity and solar array, with auxiliary power from the Lamborghini 9kW generator.

The spacious aft cockpit is protected under a rigid bimini top. Passage to and from the saloon and galley is unhampered. The large dining table can either be set in the saloon or in the cockpit. It can also be stowed in a cleverly designed locker built in the bimini top. The aft passerelle allows passage from one transom to the other without going back up in the cockpit. The large L-shaped galley faces the cockpit and it has been designed as a professional area where the chef will be able to reveal all his skills. The saloon provides a 360° panoramic view. The saloon on the Lagoon 440 is a superb living space. The light oak Alpi woodwork and the laminated wenge floor give a modern and relaxing feel. The aft cabins are fit for royalty with their queen-size central bed! Large hull fixed windows bring in lots of natural light and offer an unequalled view on the outside while staying discrete. Optimal cabin ventilation is assured by numerous opening portholes and hatches. In the owner’s version, the entire starboard hull is transformed into a luxury suite incorporating the aft cabin, a sofa, a desk, a separate hanging locker, a bathroom with separate shower, cupboards, plenty of drawers and lockers.
