Class 40 Pogo 40

Launched in 2011 ‘Milai’ is a Pogo 40 S² designed by architects Finot/Conq and built by Pogo Structures as a race boat without limitations. ‘Milai’ quickly proved her worthiness on the racecourse with a win in 2012 Transat Quebec-St Malo. She has since been campaigned successfully both shorthanded and fully crewed. Most recently, ‘Milai’ completed the Globe 40 – La Grande Route in 2023, achieving notable leg wins along the way.

Renowned for their speed and proven reliability, these early-generation Class 40s remain highly competitive and sought after. ‘Milai’ is the desirable “S” version, featuring an infused composite structure that delivers a lighter, stiffer hull. The ergonomic cockpit and efficient deck layout make it straightforward to sail single-handed while remaining equally effective with a full crew.

Consistently maintained to a high standard, Milai was most recently prepared for a round-the-world campaign, with particular attention paid to safety and system reliability. All systems have been serviced, and she benefits from new standing and running rigging. As such, she represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sailor looking toward events such as the Global Solo Challenge 2027.
