Description

NEW LISTING - OYSTER 545-02 FUJIN II

Oyster Brokerage are delighted to introduce the listing of 545-02 Fujin II.

The Oyster 545 is an evolution of the Oyster 54, incorporating a range of specification and styling enhancements. The deck features fully flush hatches, while the interior has been subtly restyled for a more refined look and feel.

With sleek hull lines, a powerful rig, and a low-center-of-gravity bulb keel, the 545 delivers impressive performance—fast, stable, and comfortable—proven time and again at Oyster Regattas. Despite its performance credentials, the yacht is designed with cruising comfort in mind. The spacious cockpit is well-appointed, featuring a substantial fixed table ideal for socializing or relaxing underway.

Inside, the three-cabin layout takes full advantage of the yacht’s long waterline, generous beam, and ample headroom, resulting in a bright, airy, and comfortable living space.

Fujin II is an outstanding example of her class, with a proven track record in ocean exploration. She has just completed some significant upgrades, including ceramic coating of the topsides, full rig removal, and servicing.

Contact us today to arrange a viewing and see the impressive work being carried out firsthand.

Specs

The items in italic highlight the non-standard items fitted during the build programme or added by the owner thereafter.

1. CONSTRUCTION

HULL NUMBER - Oyster 545.02.

HULL CONSTRUCTION

The hull is of composite moulded construction from female tools developed by Oyster in their own custom facility.

The laminate material comprises a combination of E Glass, Kevlar and Carbon Fibre. This ‘custom’ laminate offers significant weight savings, strength and stiffness advantages over a normal GRP construction, carbon for weight and stiffness, Kevlar for impact resistance.

The topside structure incorporates an 18mm end-grain, balsa core above the waterline for additional strength, stiffness and insulation.

Beneath the waterline, the hull features a monolithic (single-skin) laminate reinforced with a web of stringers, L-section beams, and floors. Combined with an arrangement of BS1088 standard marine ply, and glass/carbon/foam structural bulkheads, this produces a robust structure with excellent strength to weight qualities. Moulded GRP base units are used to form WC and shower compartment modules.

HULL FINISH

White hull with cove line and double boot top lines in grey.

Full polish and ceramic coating to topsides and superstructure, May 2025.
