The Catalina 425 has superior access to the engine, generator, water heater, battery charger and ships steering system. This makes maintenance, repair and replacement of filters, fluids and system very easy. There is a dedicated filters locker for easy access to fuel filters, coolant levels and sea water filters. There is a door adjacent to the engine oil dip stick for ease of checking the engine oil level.

The ground tackle package includes the following:
