Description
Built by Multiplast, Class 40 VPLP Clak 40 Influence #171 is a fantastic example of a VPLP Clak 40. This high performance and reliable boat has been campaigned in 2022 in Les 1000 milles des Sables and went on to achieve a 1st in the Round Ireland Race. Her sister ship won the 2023 Fastnet Race. With the ubiquitous scow bow has been designed to perform fast and efficiently on all points of sail. Class 40 VPLP Clak 40 Influence #171 has three separate ballast tanks per side to optimise trim and with the mast stepped behind the keel this allows for excellent balance and control from the lifting twin rudders.
