Description
The owners of the Viko S21 'Andiamo' have thoroughly enjoyed their first 'proper' yacht over the last few years but they are reluctantly selling due to health reasons. As a result, we now have a 3 year old Viko S21, packed with options available at a significant discount compared to the new price.
The Viko S21 is the perfect small family cruiser. Fun to sail, light and small enough to trailer to different locations and bags of room down below. Indeed, this is a pocket yacht that thinks its a superyacht! Not only does Andiamo boast 1.65m of standing headroom and a cavernous rear double berth, she also has a full separate heads compartment with marine heads, offering an almost unheard of level of privacy for such a small boat with wet weather gear hanging to boot!
Andiamo has a lifting T-bulb keel containing a class-leading 450kg of ballast, making her a stiff little boat in a blow. Shorthanded sailers will welcome her fully battened main with a lazyjack bag and a furling genoa (with UV strip). Andiamo has an ergonomically designed open cockpit protected by a sprayhood and boasting a synthetic teak finish and smart deck layout, with all lines leading aft. Deck equipment is by Antal, Lewmar and Ronstan. She also has a reliable 2022 Honda 6HP 4-stroke with seperate tank and tiller extensions, a swim ladder and even cockpit cushions and backrests.
Down below Andiamo’s large windows, hatches and 3 extra windows in the topsides allow plenty of light to fill the spacious cabin. There is plenty of room in the standing galley area. The cleverly designed companionway steps can be removed, enabling crew members to move around each other with ease. Andiamo also boasts a big leisure battery (trickle charged by a solar panel), cabin lighting, a pumped water installation, masthead nav lights and an electric bilge pump.
For budding trailer sailers Andiamo has its own mast lifting kit, complete with mast support post on the transom and mast tabernacle. An optional heavy duty twin axle trailer is available by seperate negotiation.
