The BAVARIA chines ensure more stability, a longer waterline and therefore better performance and a more direct feeling when steering. But the prominent angle at the stern of the BAVARIA C42 has another advantage. It yields more space for the stern cabins, providing more comfort.

German engineering & quality. This model offers a well-appointed 3-cabin, 2-head layout, including a master cabin with a double berth and ensuite head. The twin aft cabins also feature double berths, ensuring comfort for guests. The salon, finished in luxurious Mahogany and Ocean Line flooring, is bright and airy, thanks to large hull windows and premium “Opus” artificial leather upholstery.
The fully equipped L-shaped galley boasts a 3-burner stove with an oven, microwave, and front-loading refrigerator, providing all the amenities needed for extended stays on the water. Climate control is handled by two separate air conditioning units, ensuring comfort in any weather.
On deck, the Bavaria C42 is outfitted for ease of handling and superior performance, with a furling mainsail, and a B&G navigation system, including a Zeus³S chart plotter and autopilot. The teak-finished cockpit and bathing platform, combined with an electric anchor windlass, make for easy and enjoyable sailing.
Walkthrough
Stepping aboard the Bavaria C42, you are greeted by a spacious and thoughtfully designed cockpit, featuring twin GRP steering wheels and a foldable cockpit table with integrated storage. The teak decking underfoot adds a touch of elegance and durability, perfect for both sailing and entertaining. A warm and cold water shower is conveniently located in the cockpit for rinsing off after a swim.
Moving below deck, the salon welcomes you with a U-shaped seating area to starboard and a lounge bench to port, comfortably accommodating up to eight guests. The interior is crafted with Mahogany wood, and the "Ocean Line" flooring provides a stylish and durable finish. Overhead hatches with integrated blinds and mosquito nets ensure ample natural light and ventilation.
The galley, situated to port, is well-equipped for gourmet meal preparation, featuring a 3-burner stove with oven, a microwave, and a front-loading refrigerator. The black laminate countertops provide ample workspace, and the layout is both functional and stylish.
The master cabin forward offers a private retreat with a double berth and an ensuite head, featuring an electric toilet and separate shower. The two aft cabins, each with double berths, share a second head, also equipped with an electric toilet and a separate shower.
