Hanse 388 (2023)
This next-generation cruising sailboat captivates with its elegant design, marine performance, and exceptional comfort. With an overall length of 11.40 meters and a generous width of 3.90 meters, this model offers a spacious living area while ensuring excellent maneuverability, even with a reduced crew.
Thanks to its slender hull and narrow stern, the Hanse 388 achieves a cruising speed of around 7.5 knots, with precise and balanced handling, especially when sailing close-hauled. Compared to competing sailboats like the Bavaria C38 or the Dufour 390, it has a slightly more pronounced heel while maintaining reassuring stability and good speed across all points of sail.
This sailboat is equipped with a tall mast optimized to capture steady winds at altitude, a self-tacking tri-radial jib, and an adjustable backstay, ensuring easy and safe navigation. Its robust balsa sandwich construction, with isophthalic gelcoat and vinylester laminate, offers both lightness and strength. With a displacement of 8.3 tons, of which about 33% is concentrated in the keel, it benefits from excellent course stability and great reliability in rough seas.
