The Knysna 500 SE is renowned for its strong construction and uncompromising build quality, yet they are fast and perform well, easily sailed at 10 knots and over. She features twin 2023 Yanmar 4JH57 57 hp diesel engines with a Reverso fuel polishing system.
Designed for extended liveaboard life, Lanua offers three queen berths and a drop-down saloon table that converts to a daybed with gas-assisted pedestals. With a generous 2 m head height throughout, comfort is consistent across all interior spaces. Her three freshwater Raritan electric heads, three showers, and 240 L holding tank provide excellent amenities, supported by 40 L of hot water via 230 V power and a starboard engine heat exchanger.
