Description
HALLBERG-RASSY IN ENGLISH
BELLIDO YACHTS - OFFICIAL DISTRIBUTOR OF HALLBERG-RASSY
We have been brokers for over 20 years and official distributors of Hallberg-Rassy.
And furthermore, we speak your language.
In the process of purchasing a vessel, just as in any significant acquisition, it is much easier and more practical to deal with people who share your language and culture. And when we talk about such a special sailboat as an HR, having the best possible advice is a priority.
At Lago Bellido Yachts, as official distributors of HR and also as brokers, we take care of the complete management of your vessel purchase. We have been working with clients from all over Europe and also from Latin America for years. Our clients, who often reside thousands of kilometers away, trust us because we offer them security and peace of mind throughout the entire process of purchasing their boats.
THE HALLBERG-RASSY 69 HAS ALREADY SAILLED OVER 8000 MILES
The world premiere of the largest boat manufactured by HR took place at Boot Düsseldorf in 2024. This year, the same boat has been exhibited again at this year's Boot, already with 8000 miles sailed, and all attendees believed it was a completely new boat. The HR quality is evident in every detail. If you are seriously considering acquiring a boat of this kind, we suggest you book an appointment with us for a test sail at the Ellös shipyard in Sweden. The way this sailboat sails is truly impressive. We have been fortunate enough to test the Hallberg-Rassy 69, and there are very few boats of this length that convey the sensations that this boat does. Below we offer a summary of its main features.
Powerful, fast, and safe. With its nearly 50 tons of displacement, and a sail plan that easily allows it to maintain speeds above 10 knots with moderate winds, reaching easily up to 12 knots, and maximums of 14.5 knots in downwind with all sails up. Practically 40% of its weight is concentrated in its lead keel, which translates into smooth and predictable reactions, especially with strong winds and rough sea conditions.
Total control at the helm, with its two rudder blades and its Jefa transmission system that makes the feel at the wheel incomparable, very agile for its length, and with the peace of mind of having a Hallberg-Rassy underfoot. Powerful and variable intensity bow and stern thrusters, which make maneuvers in port very easy with a small crew. They can even work together constantly to keep the boat close to the finger/dock while securing the mooring lines. Large Raymarine displays at each wheel, where we have complete information on the navigation systems and all the installations of the boat.
Absolute control of your rig from the wheel - Push button sailing by HR - , with minimal effort, ready to sail thousands of miles with family or a reduced crew. Hydraulic system with controls at the wheel consoles for genoa/main winches, backstay, preventer, and tension of the genoa and main halyards, if we opt for the carbon fiber mast (furling). Along with the hydraulic furlers, we can easily modify the sail plan and quickly adapt it to changes in course or wind.
Hallberg-Rassy construction quality at its finest. On deck, the wind rises and the boat exceeds 10 knots. Inside, tranquility and absolute silence. The boat does not creak. We don't even hear the sound of the sea brushing against the hull. The way this shipyard builds makes the boat a true block. The hull is heavily reinforced and is also laminated to the bulkheads and deck, forming a unique structure with extraordinary robustness. The sandwich construction used and improved by HR over the years ensures that the interior is perfectly insulated both acoustically and thermally. Good thermal insulation is very important, both in cold and warm climates.
SPACIOUS AND ELEGANT EXTERIOR
The exterior radiates elegance. Hallberg-Rassy aesthetics with modern hull and deck lines. Like any HR, it has a timeless design that does not succumb to trends. The deck is unusually clear and completely flush forward of the mast. It has no less than 14.8 cubic meters of storage space on deck. The cockpit has two L-shaped sofas, a large high-gloss teak table, divided into 2 parts to facilitate access to the interior of the boat. It also has an optional refrigerator under one of the wheels. The cockpit is well protected by the typical Hallberg-Rassy windshield with a folding soft top and optionally a hard top. The helmsman's position is not exposed, it is very protected, and has good support with a well-designed coaming.
A boat designed to sail fast under sail, but with total control of the rig from the wheels (winch control, furlers, backstay, preventer, halyard tensions, etc.). Aft of the cockpit, there is a spacious and clear area, well protected from the wind, perfect for enjoying the sun before going down to the swim platform for a dip, or to set up a true chill-out area with views. Below this area is the aft garage, which can accommodate a 3.4-meter tender, and has considerable volume that can also be used for storage. The wide swim platform is articulated by powerful hydraulic arms, and has a simple system that makes launching and retrieving the tender very easy. On the transom, near the waterline, there is a button that allows the platform to be opened from the sea, in case someone falls overboard.
INTERIOR ON ONE LEVEL, BRIGHTNESS AND VIEW OF THE OUTSIDE
The interior is on one level from bow to stern, which is important for moving freely and safely, whether sailing, anchored, or in port. Most sailboats of this length have steps in their interiors, which hinder crew mobility and multiply the risk of tripping and accidents.
There is an unusual amount of natural light, with eight portholes in the hull. You sit in the salon and can see the sea through large windows. They provide total contact with the outside, while the blinds can be easily lowered if transparency or sunlight is not desired. A person of average height standing can see perfectly outside through the large salon portholes. The interior layout options allow for a dressing room, a cabin for a sailor, and VIP cabins for guests. You can also choose the cabinetry between Mahogany (standard, darker) and European Oak (optional, lighter wood).
SPACIOUS AND WELL-ORDERED ENGINE ROOM, PERFECT FOR GOOD MAINTENANCE
The engine room is very large and has space for a lot of technical equipment. It is also well soundproofed and easily accessible for service and maintenance.
The engine is very well sized, even for a Hallberg-Rassy. It is a Volvo Penta D6-300 with 6 cylinders and 300 HP with a high and flat torque of an incredible 790 Newton meters at 2,100 rpm. Approximately 1300 miles of range at 8 knots of speed. We are talking about a true ocean-going sailboat without limits, with extraordinary range and performance.
