X-Yachts Gold Cup - Silver Jubilee
May 26 - 29, Portoferraio, Elba Island
The X-Yachts Gold Cup is the yearly opportunity for the X-Yachts owners of the same category to challenge so many yachts.
After the first edition that took part in Lavagna, Italy, and the next in the European seas, the X-Yachts Gold Cup comes back to Italy, in Portoferraio Elba Island on the 26th 27th 28th 29th of May 2004.
X-Yachts Gold Cup has chosen the Mediterranean Sea to celebrate the "Silver Jubilee".
In year 2004 X-Yachts will celebrate it's 25th anniversary still under the guidance of it's founders: Niels Jeppesen, Lars Jeppesen and Birger Hansen.
The wonderful fifteenth century port will be the heart of the event. The event will include several regattas and a special program of entertainments "after-regatta". Eighty yachts and 1000 sailors are expected to take part to the event that will be organized with the collaboration of the Comitato Circoli Velici Elbani and of the Comune of Portoferraio.
