If the “devil is in the details,” then the Lazzara LSX 67 is devilishly delightful, blessed with an angel’s touch. The yacht is heavenly. Envision yourself anchored in an azure sea on a private floating oasis, surrounded by teak and tactile beauty, enveloped in luxury, leisurely reading and sunny before jumping in for a swim, snorkel or dive or jaunt on the tender to investigate nearby islands. The Lazzara LSX 67 invites this aquatic life as well as a weekend in the Keys, a trip to the Bahamas or a cruise with family and friends to a splendid dinner.

Lazzara Yachts: Builder Background

The Lazzara name has always translated to performance and beauty, but now, under the ownership of the Euro Marine Group, this DNA has risen to the ultimate level of sophistication. The details of quilted leather upholstery, leather drawer pulls, in-house built, curved wooden cabinetry, a composite rub rail topped with stainless for elegant sturdiness, contrast blue accents at the waterline of the painted Midnight Blue hull.

Such meticulous design details all speak to the "superyacht standards" of this 67’ Express Yacht, built in Ankara, Turkey. The capital city is surrounded by many natural resources and its seafaring history provides the shipyard’s industrial and artisan workforce. The wood-working detail, including industrial hinges, and pleated Roman shades with notches to rest evenly on wood windowsills, speak of the pride, craftsmanship and time invested in the details in design and construction. The hull shape, with its straight bow cuts a stunning profile which remains intact after the anchor is dropped from the dedicated flush hatch. The sleek lines on this express sport cruiser extend bow to stern.

Stern And Swim Platform

At the rear of the vessel, when the aft deck is opened, the 16’ beam extends via teak wings reaching out in the sea. The expanded beach patio’s expansive lounging and dining space could host an entire party with room to spare. I was struck by an added detail, where an under-gunwale window is covered by teak lattice when the wing is extended, providing stability of visibility as needed. Extra shade is provided at the bow and aft deck by three, triangular fabric sunscreens, supported by carbon fiber poles, providing a festive look to the practical addition.

The swim platform hydraulically descends into the water and has ample room for a personal watercraft, a tender or beach and watersports toys. A transom door facilitates entry from the platform to the deck, as do boarding doors forward to port and starboard. The boarding ladder is another example of painstaking detail as the stainless-steel structure is painted to match the hull with teak steps and a proprietary design to attach to the boat on the boarding door sills, both port and starboard, so the ladder will not scratch the side of the boat or show unsightly aluminum fittings.

Second Helm Station

Also near the boarding doors on the top deck, is an additional helm station and controls hidden discreetly beneath hatches to blend with the décor--an adjacent teak covered grill is to starboard and an electrically actuated TV to port. Such mindful details are everywhere, like teak framed cup holders that add fashion to function.

Open space is a recurring theme as from the aft deck, broad glass doors give entry to the Master Stateroom, which for good reason received the Best Master Cabin Design for 2023 by the International Yacht and Aviation Awards. (The same association awarded the Lazzara 67 LSX The Best Yacht under 25 meters as well.)

Master Stateroom

The master’s full beam space accommodates an aft facing king bed so the ocean view greets you in the morning as the stars lull you to sleep. The stateroom is forward of the engine room, which accessed from aft deck hatches or from the stateroom stairs which lift to provide access, so the cabin is quiet and ensconced in wood cabinetry providing more than ample storage, again with rich leather upholstery and expansive windows with privacy shades throughout.

The large glass, chrome and marble shower and head is elegant and replicated in the guest VIP and day head. A big-screen TV drops down from the ceiling while lounging and desk space ensures that the owner can enjoy all the comforts of home on the water within steps.

Bridge Deck

Travel up from the aft deck via port and starboard sets of teak step to the upper deck and find a large dining table with U-shaped seating and glass door entry to the salon. The indoor space feels open to the sea as the broad sloping windows from helm to stern and an electric sunroof naturally light the space which provides air-conditioned comfort for those weary souls who may tire of the brilliant outdoors!

The captain here can also enjoy the technologically advanced helm, with glass enclosed controls and a Boning vessel alarm monitoring and control system. Boning’s system is designed to streamline operation and provide information about all navigation, the Volvo IPS 1350 engines, which cruise at 25 knots, onboard equipment and systems via a touch screen that not only responds to touch, but to sliding the finger across the screen to ensure accurate operation on certain functions. While operation is done through the helm displays, the Boning electrical panel is tucked behind cabinetry at the stairway, making it easily available, but unseen. The luxurious leather helm seats are comfortably placed before the raised screens and the broad curved glass windshield and wood and leather cabinetry add excellent visibility and elegance to the space.

Galley

Stairs to port lead down to the galley, discreetly hidden laundry and three guest staterooms. While the galley is below, the natural light over the wooden cabinets and stone countertops still make it feel airy and comfortable for preparing light meals. Starboard dining space provides a nice spot for a quick snack or staging meals to carry up to the decks. An additional fold-out provides an outside coffee nook when desired.

VIP Stateroom

The en suite VIP stateroom is amidship while an additional queen is starboard and a double twin-size bunk is to port, both with private heads, aft of the galley. A crew quarter with twin bunks is in the bow lower level. All boast the same décor finishes as the master suite so anyone onboard feels like a VIP.

Bow Area And Side Decks

The teak side decks are framed by wood and stainless handrails, meticulously designed and built for dockside appeal and comfortable feel; they lead to a spacious bow with a U-shaped lounge, teak dining table and huge sun pad—again, room for another party. The number of social areas assures that when some privacy is desired, there is a place to go to be with others—or to get away from them—a luxury on a 67’ yacht that can easily carry 8 guests and crew.

The Lazzara 67 LSX is ideal for someone who wants to make a statement or simply relishes in the exquisite details and open spaces that make this yacht a heavenly escape—to anywhere.
